Spring has sprung and one of the most scenic places to visit is your local cemetery.

Unlike a graveyard, that is attached to a church, cemeteries were created to provide a park-like, picturesque landscapes combining nature with burial sites, making cemeteries places for leisure and reflection rather than just for mourning.

As we celebrate being “half way to halloween” we are encouraging everyone to get dressed in your best black gothic gear and take a stroll through your cemetery On May 2nd at 2:00. Grab your spooky bestie and walk that cemetery like you just walked into AHS’s The Coven. Oh and take pictures. I want to see ALL the pictures.

NOTE: This is a not a formally organized event. Please choose locations that you feel safe at and do not walk alone. We ask you observe the guidelines listed below to respectfully visit with your friends and family.
